    Voluntary Student Accident Insurance

     

     The Los Angeles Unified School District does not provide health or accident insurance for students; however, we do offer assistance to help students access insurance plans through an independent broker.

    Children’s Health Access and Medi-Cal Program (CHAMP)

     

    The first option available to students is to contact the CHAMP office of LAUSD. This office can assist parents in accessing no-cost or low-cost health insurance programs for children and young children.

  • Voluntary Student Accident Insurance Program

    For those who do not qualify under the CHAMP's Programs, various plan options can be purchased at reduced cost directly through

    And independent broker, K and K Insurance Group.

     

    Options Include:

      

    • “24-Hour Coverage” provides coverage

        For injuries sustained all year long 

     

    • “At-School Coverage” provides coverage

        For injuries sustained at school during

        School-sponsored activities 

     

    • “Football Coverage” provides coverage

        For injuries sustained while practicing or

        Participating in High School Football 

     

    • “Extended Dental Coverage” provides

        Supplemental coverage for injury to

         Sound Natural Teeth
