Absence Management

The Absence Management Unit provides comprehensive advisement and support to District staff about Protected Leaves, including the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), California Family Rights Act (CFRA), Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL), Paid Parental Leave (PPL), Bereavement, Reproductive Loss Leave. Protected Personal Necessity, Kin Care, and Military Disability Leave. In addition to providing advisement relating to protected leaves, Absence Management manages the District's Staff Attendance and Donations for Catastrophic Illness (DCI) Programs.
