The Salary Allocation Unit staff evaluates and processes required official documents that verify training (transcripts) and experience (employment verification letters) to determine placement and advancement on the Teacher Preparation, Early Education and Development Center Salary Tables. Placement and advancement guidelines are incorporated in the District Collective Bargaining Agreement, Education Code and applicable state laws. We also verify eligibility for career increments and promotional opportunities and address appeals related to salary placement.

The Estimated Salary Calculator is to be used for K-12 teachers and secondary counselors. For all others, please refer to the 2023-2024 Salary Tables.
Teachers with provisional contracts will receive a minimum salary of $56,130 and a maximum salary of $56,618 (Pay Scale Group 22, Pay Scale Level 2). Please refer to the L-Table for additional details regarding the rating-in limit for employees with a provisional contract.
