    Empowering a Community of Rising Equity Champions in Los Angeles Unified 

    The Equity Action Network (EAN) Professional Development series is designed to provide 20 hours of paid professional development ($50 / hour) a year for three years that is targeted to newly hired credentialed teachers who elect to work in the District’s high need schools (High or Highest on SENI Ranking).

     

    Network of Support

    • As part of the professional development, teachers will receive learning, resources, and support from a Professional Development Support Provider, school leaders will also be included in the learning in recognition of their key role in supporting teacher success

    • Foundations for effective teaching
    • Identifying and exploring exemplary equity focused classroom practices
