Committee for External Research Review
The Research Unit is committed to providing the resources to conduct research studies-other than studies conducted by Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Those who wish to conduct research with LAUSD, must submit a research proposal for review. We are accepting proposals to conduct research proposals involving LAUSD during the following periods:
- April 1-15, 2019
- July 1-15, 2019
- December 1-15, 2019
Please be aware that it may take several months to go through the proposal review process.
Once your proposal has been approved
- If you are planning to visit schools, please complete the forms in the Volunteer Bulletin.
- If you need secondary data please complete the appropriate Data Use Agreement.
Completed Research Project Requirements
- All researchers are required to submit their findings to us, in practitioner friendly manner, such as: infographic, presentation slides, or summary of findings.
- If you identify the District in your research, we require 30 days to review any written documents to enable us to identify any confidential information. The researcher will delete such LAUSD confidential information at CERR's request.
