The purpose of this Bulletin is to establish policies and procedures for accessing the Assistive Technology Lending Libraries. It is the policy of the Los Angeles Unified School District (the District) that as part of a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE), assistive technology devices and/or services are made available to a student.

The purpose of this reference guide is to inform all District instructional staff, Pre-K through senior high school, of: (1) the updated Physical Therapy Position Paper; and (2) their responsibility to read this position paper in order to understand the role of Physical Therapy in the education of students with disabilities within the Los Angeles Unified School District.
