Categorical  equipment physical check is a biennial (every 2 years) inspection of equipment that has been funded using categorical funds. The purpose of the check is to ensure that the equipment is in good working order and is being used properly.

Below is a list of schools that must conduct a physical check of their categorically funded equipment during the 2023-2024 school year.

If your school is not listed below, you still need to submit a categorical equipment inventory, but you are not required to perform an equipment physical check.
