2022-2023 FPM Program Instruments
-
Each program's instrument contains federal and state legal requirements organized into statutory core items and supporting items arranged under seven general CDE dimensions. FPM team members use program instruments to determine whether an LEA is meeting the requirements of each item.
Program instruments are developed and reviewed by the CDE on an annual basis and may change from year to year to respond to changes in federal or state law, regulations, or controlling judicial decisions.

2023-2024 Compensatory Education (CE) checklist
The California Department of Education (CDE) publishes Program Instruments on a yearly basis to detail what documents are needed to show compliance with the requirements of a program. The Compensatory Education (CE) checklist is a list of program evidence documents schools are responsible for keeping at their sites for up to 5 years. These documents should be organized by year and should be available upon request. Please contact Angel Covarrubias at ajc2896@lausd.net should you have any questions.
