    Reporting Fraud, Waste, and Abuse

The OIG operates a Hotline so anyone can easily report allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, or misconduct occurring within the District. Allegations can be reported online via our hotline 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The OIG receives hundreds of reports from concerned employees, vendors, and the public, most of which are either investigated by the OIG or referred to local district administrators for review and disposition.

Complaints regarding personnel matters and/or management are typically not investigated by the OIG unless there is evidence of wrongdoing. To ensure that your report is given adequate attention, you must provide reliable, accurate, and detailed information.

Prior to submitting a report, make sure you have the correct spelling of names, employee and vendor numbers (if available), position and program titles, work location, special funding source (e.g. bond funds, Title I, etc.), and any other pertinent detail. This will ensure that your report is handled properly.
