Manish has worked in the hospitality business for the last 42 years, the last 15 years with LAUSD Food Services. Manish has a Bachelor’s in Economics from Delhi University; a diploma in Hotel Management from India’s premier hotel management school, the Oberoi School of Hotel Management.

Florence Simpson is a Deputy Director. She started working for the district in 2004 as an Area Food Services Supervisor, after many years of experience in college food service and the private restaurant industry.

Soniya Perl is a Registered Dietitian with a master's degree in nutrition. She has worked in the school nutrition arena for over a decade and has authored curriculum on food service management.

Senior Administrative Assistant
Ann Marie Marmolejo is the Senior Administrative Assistant in the Food Services Division supporting the Director and Senior Leadership Team of the Division. Ms. Marmolejo has provided administrative support for the past 24 years to LAUSD administrators at the Senior Management and Local District levels.

Monica Dudley-Kimble is the Regional Manager for Region West. She has been with LAUSD for the last 25 years working in the Food Service Child and Nutrition Division.

Julie Lee is the Regional Food Services Manager of Region South. She began her employment with LAUSD as an Area Food Services Supervisor in 2008. For more than 25 years, Julie has been actively engaged in food and nutrition service operations serving a wide range of public and private organizations.

Regional Manager for Region East, Kent Li has been with LAUSD for the last 10 years. He started as an Area Food Services Supervisor in 2006. He came to LAUSD with many years of experience working as Food Services Director in the health care industry.
