V. Forwarding and maintaining records

The public school of residence shall process and maintain the records of private school students as follows:
  1. Create a special education folder (green folder) to file IEPs, and Services Plans.
  2. For any student who does not meet eligibility criteria for special education services, forward the student's name and student ID number to the Division of Special Education, Private Schools Office.
  3. Forward IEPs with disagreements according to District due process procedures.
  4. Forward all completed Services Plans for students with an eligibility for special education services to the Division of Special Education, Private Schools Office.
  5. Maintain a log of IEP review dates for students with disabilities attending a private school.
  6. Forward the green folder to the future public school of residence for all matriculating students at the beginning of the fall semester.
