  • California School Dashboard Reports Now Available on the Open Data Dashboard

    The California School Dashboard results for LA Unified schools are now available on the Open Data dashboard. The California Department of Education (CDE) released the California School Dashboard in March of 2017 to help parents and the public understand how school districts and their schools are performing under California’s school accountability system. The Dashboard displays results on six State indicators (see details below). Los Angeles Unified created these Dashboard reports in Open Data to give schools and their communities more details around the six State indicators and to complement the existing reports created by the CDE.

  • New Budget Dashboard Now Available on the Open Data Dashboard

    LA Unified is excited to announce the release of a new budget dashboard available to the public. The new dashboard presents current and prior year budget information summarized into 9 major categories. The dashboard was created to answer such questions as: How big is LA Unified's budget? What percentage of the budget is spent on classroom teachers? Did we spend more or less on transportation this year compared to last year?

  • November 2020-2021 Budget Dataset Now Available in the Open Data Catalog

    The District's Budget Services and Financial Planning Division has released the November 2020-2021 budget dataset. This dataset includes budget information for every school and cost center in the District.

  • Correction to 2018-19 Smarter Balanced English Language Arts Assessment Results

    The California Department of Education (CDE) identified an issue with the 2018-19 grade 6 Smarter Balanced Assessment in English language arts, which they have fixed. The results on the Open Data dashboard have been refreshed with the corrected information.

  • 2019-20 English Learner Reclassification Rates Now Available on the Open Data Dashboard

    English learner reclassification rates for the 2019-2020 school year are now available on the Open Data dashboard. The rates represent the percentage of English learners who have acquired sufficient proficiency in English to perform successfully in core academic subjects without English-language development support. Reclassification rates are refreshed annually, and the data are available at the District-level and for individual schools.

  • 2020-21 Early Education Enrollments Now Available on the Open Data Dashboard

    Early education enrollments for the 2020-2021 school year are now available on the Open Data dashboard. These enrollments include students enrolled at early education centers and state preschools. The information is available by gender, ethnicity and for individual schools. The data are refreshed four times a year, in September, December, March and June.

  • Adult Education Enrollments Now Available on the Open Data Dashboard

    Three years of adult education enrollments are now available on the Open Data Dashboard. The enrollments are viewable by gender, ethnicity, age group, instructional program and school. The data are refreshed four times a year in September, December, March and June.

  • 2020-21 Enrollments Now Available on the Open Data Dashboard

    Enrollments for the 2020-21 school year are now available on the Open Data dashboard. These data include enrollments for all grade levels, transitional kindergarten through 12th grade, for students with disabilities, English language learners, English language learners who have become proficient in English, and students participating in the District's dual language enducation program.

  • Early Education Enrollments Now Available on the Open Data Dashboard

    Three years of early education enrollments are now available on the Open Data Dashboard. The dashboard displays data for students enrolled at early education centers, state preschools, and infant centers. Data are refreshed four times per year: September, December, March and June. The dashboard currently displays June enrollments for the last 3 school years.
