Title I Program

  • Welcome to the Region East Title I Program!

The purpose of this web page is to provide resources and information regarding the implementation of the Title I Program in LAUSD under the guidance of Federal and State Education Programs (FSEP) Branch.  We provide technical assistance in the following areas:

    • Title I and Fiscal Program Requirements
    • Federal Program Monitoring (FPM)
    • School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)

This page will also provide important information and due dates for Region East schools.

Title I is an academic program and not just a funding source.  It is designed to provide students with additional supports and services to meet grade level standards and be READY FOR THE WORLD- to thrive in college, career, and life by the time they graduate high school.

What does the Title I Program look like at your school?

How are you supporting at-risk students to ensure that they graduate READY FOR THE WORLD- to thrive in college, career, and life?

How are you utilizing Title I funds to eliminate inequities at your school site?  What evidenced-based resources and interventions are you providing to support at-risk students in accessing the core curriculum?
