About SRDM

  • The Student Records and Data Management Branch archives student cumulative records of former LAUSD students and manages data through scanning and verification of various key district programs and initiatives.

On this site, you will find information on obtaining student records for former LAUSD students.  Our office maintains records for students attending traditional LAUSD public schools.  Cumulative records are maintained for students who attended LAUSD schools from the late 1880’s to present day. Records may include a listing of classes completed, grades, test scores, immunization records and graduation status.

Student records are generally maintained at the last school of attendance for a period of up to five years after the student’s scheduled graduation date.  After the five years, the records are transferred to the Student Records Center.   Students who recently left or who are still attending school should contact their school for their records.

Records for adult schools, AEWC, private and non-public schools geographically located within LAUSD boundaries are not maintained by the Student Records Center.  Requests for such records must be requested directly to their respective schools.
