Autism Spectrum Disorders

The District Intern Program is offering the Added Authorization for Autism Spectrum Disorders. Candidates must hold a special education credential or Education Specialist Teaching Credential (without the autism authorization) as a prerequisite to applying to the program. The autism spectrum disorders added authorization authorizes the holder to conduct assessments, provide instruction, and special education related services to individuals with a primary disability of autism.

The added authorization program is scheduled to be completed in one year beginning in July through June of the following year. Classes are generally held two times per month from 4:30PM - 7:30PM. For further information, please click here.
