    The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program (AP) is among the largest of several programs providing advanced curricula to high school students today:
     
    • Around 60% of U.S. high schools participate in the AP Program; encompasses 1.8 million students and over 145,000 teachers across all 50 states and more than 120 countries.
    • Eighty-five percent (85%) of students who take an AP course will attend college
    • Over 90% of the nation’s colleges and universities have an AP policy granting incoming students credit, placement, or both for qualifying AP exam scores.
