  • Surveys of Potential Environmental Concerns

  • OEHS periodically conducts surveys to identify potential environmental concerns near schools. Environmental concerns include, but are not limited to, facilities that may or are likely to contain chemicals of concern, high voltage power lines and transformers, underground gas and oil pipelines, and earthquake faults. The surveys that have been completed can be viewed by searching for the school name below. Additional surveys will be uploaded as they are completed.

More information on the role of OEHS in identifying potential environmental concerns, as well as the responsibilities of Site Administrators, is available in the Environmental Hazards in Proximity to Schools Reference Guide (REF-5892.1). If you have any questions about the surveys, please contact OEHS at (213) 241-3199.

To search for a school's survey, click the "Select a School" button below and type the school name in the search box or select the school from the drop-down list.
