This two-part training, geared towards new school site administrators, will provide an understanding of how schools are funded and the process of school budgeting. In Part One, attendees will be introduced to LAUSD’s financial systems and gain an understanding of resource allocations and the budget process and timeline. With emphasis on best practices, Part Two will cover budget management. Topics such as budget monitoring, staffing, and procurement will be on the agenda.
