In highlighting the benefits of dual enrollment for high school students, Dr. Baez guests Esteffi Marquez-Garcia, Woodrow Wilson's Dual Enrollment Counselor, and Tony Diaz, full-time faculty teacher of the Physical Therapy Aide program at ELAC, who also teaches dual enrollment and Kinesiology at Garfield HS, discuss how students at Wilson HS embrace the popular college-level Sports Medicine Program. Esteffi and Tony share how students enjoy the opportunity to take college-level courses while still in high school. LAUSD has brought college awareness to high school students, who can earn college credits or trade certificates to keep them competitive and Ready for the World.
