Effective September 26, 2023, the Los Angeles Unified Board of Education has rescinded its COVID-19 vaccine mandate. This action applies to all contractors and vendors of the District. Contractors and vendors are no longer required to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Los Angeles Unified will stop requiring contractors and vendors that provide services on District property, or directly to District students, to be fully vaccinated from COVID-19. Prospective contractors and/or vendors will no longer be required to upload a copy of their COVID-19 vaccination card. Contractors and/or vendors who may not have been eligible to register as a Vendor or who may not have been granted a District Vendor Number previously may now register and apply to be eligible to submit bids and proposals.
