Learn More About Dyslexia Awareness Month

Dyslexia is the single largest learning disability.

Children with dyslexia have trouble learning to read.  They may also have difficulty with comprehension, spelling, writing and math.

California Governor Gavin Newsom, diagnosed with dyslexia when he was five, often speaks to students to encourage them to succeed.

At Los Angeles Unified, students who have symptoms of dyslexia are identified as early as possible.
