Celebrate Public Schools Week, February 22-26
“Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities, because in each of us there is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into a benefit for everyone and greater strength of the nation.”
~ President John F. Kennedy
Public Schools Week celebrates the importance of public education and recognizes the innovative learning that takes places in the classroom every day. Los Angeles Unified is one of 13,598 school districts nationwide that are educating nearly 51 million students, thanks to the hard work of 90,000 principals and 3.2 million teachers.
