Most schools utilize some form of fundraising to raise school spirit and to provide funding for a variety of activities that enhance the school experience for its students. While Board policies do not prohibit the sale of non-approved beverages and snacks in fundraising activities outside of the times specified in the Board motions cited in the paragraph below, school administrators are encouraged to explore fundraisers that continue to promote the spirit of these policies. Health Services Focus Areas:

1. Board policy prohibits the on-campus sale of non-approved beverages and snacks before, during, and until one-half hour after the end of the regular school day.

2. All schools implement with fidelity the Guideline for Sales and Service of Non-School Meal Program Food/Beverages on School Campus.
