Create and Submit CA-Aligned Math Tasks for Curriculum Maps!
-
Find out how your lesson plan can be in the LAUSD Curriculum Maps!
A primary focus of the CCSS-Aligned Math Task Project is to create original lesson plans for Elementary Math. We are engaging teams of educators across the district to develop high-quality lessons. This program is designed to provide a professional development experience on the standards and on lesson plan development.
Each submitted lesson must first go through a rigorous criteria-based review. Peer educators and subject matter experts provide reviews and constructive feedback prior to publishing on the LAUSD website. This review cycle provides feedback to the participants and ensures that the best quality lessons are created and shared. The process also builds a community of curriculum leaders who work together to create the best resources to support the implementation of the standards.
Once the lessons are reviewed and published, the lessons become accessible on the related curriculum map pages.
