    Middle School Mathematics Placement and Pathways

    The purpose of this Memorandum is to provide information to schools regarding the middle school mathematics pathways and courses aligned to the new California State Standards. It also provides guidelines to schools regarding middle school student placement in mathematics pathways, specifically in regard to placement in accelerated pathways.

    IM IOC January 17, 2023 Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is offering middle, span, and high schools the opportunity to implement the Illustrative Mathematics Certified™ (IM) Grades 6-12 curriculum in fall of 2023.
