The District English Learner Advisory Committee's (DELAC) mission is to provide an authentic parent voice through engaging in review and generating advice and comment on matters pertinent to English Learner programs to the LAUSD Board of Education and Superintendent, to ensure that the District’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (“LAUSD LCAP”) reflects the input of District parents, a key stakeholder group.
The Office of Student, Family and Community Engagement was relocated to a new site while our building is under construction. The address for future committee meetings is 1081 W Temple St, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Parking for our office is available on the Beaudry side of the campus.

We are pleased to announce that the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) Spring 2024 membership application window will be open from Saturday, February 17, 2024 until Sunday, March 31, 2024.
The CAC is made up of dedicated volunteers including parents, students, staff, and community members. The CAC is tasked to provide input and recommendations to the Los Angeles Unified Board of Education on Special Education programs and services outlined in the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) Local Plan in accordance with CA Education Code sections 56190-56194. Learn more about the CAC by visiting https://www.lausd.org/cac. Applicants must live, or work within the boundaries of the Los Angeles Unified Unified.
